The Washington Liveaboard
Association (WLA) was formed in 1997 to serve as a conduit for sharing
experience, education, and information between people living aboard their
recreational boats and their larger community.
The WLA provides guidance, references,
education and support for those boaters that live (or want to live) aboard their
recreational boats, and for liveaboards looking to get organized in
their marina community.
The WLA is governed by a Board of Directors,
comprised of up to 15 liveaboards elected by the general membership. The Board
can meet 3 times a year, as needed, plus an annual meeting, and membership is
open to any liveaboard in the State of Washington.
